Meet the Doctors
Dr. Firas Al Khalili

Raised in Ottawa, he later moved to Kingston where he attended Queen’s University and received a Bachelors of Science (Honours) degree. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, Michigan. Following this, Firas spent a year at Saint Luke’s Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio, completing rotations in Anesthesia, Emergency Room, General Surgery and Medicine as part of a General Practice Residency Program. Before moving to Ottawa, Firas spent 10 years co-founding and managing a successful dental practice in Michigan. During this time, he was also awarded the distinguished title of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. In line with his endless desire to learn and to engage in knowledge sharing, Firas also currently serves as a peer reviewer of manuscripts for the Academy of General Dentistry. However, nothing pleases him more than to sit one on one with a patient and to care for them using the best of what he has learned over the years.
